Beyond Property Lines: Help Buyers Consider Community Amenities

When your clients are searching for a new home, they’re likely considering details such as the square footage, layout, number of bedrooms and price of a house. One of the most important considerations, however, goes beyond the four walls and property lines: community amenities.

The neighborhood your buyer selects will be where they walk their dog, unwind, make connections with neighbors and more! It’s crucial for them to find a location that offers the environment and the amenities they need, whether that’s ample bike paths or close proximity to major commuting routes.

Popular community amenities include:

  • Community centers/clubhouses
  • Pools and other water features (splash pads, water slides etc.)
  • Fitness facilities
  • Sports courts and fields
  • Golf courses
  • Parks, playgrounds and open space
  • Walking, biking and hiking trails

The list above isn’t exhaustive though—every community offers something unique for its residents, and each homebuyer has their own list of must-haves.

With this in mind, we’ve compiled a number of resources across our website that you can share with your clients to educate them and help find their neighborhood fit. Additionally, you and your buyers can use search filters on RichmondAmerican.com to narrow down communities based on the specific features they’re looking for! We wrote an article that explains how to do so.
