Despite 2020’s challenges, Richmond American Homes of Nevada, Inc. has found many ways to stand tall and make a difference within their greater community. Here are just a few of the ways they’re helping to build a brighter future!
Richmond American Homes of Nevada was one of several corporate sponsors who stepped up to fill a funding gap for the Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council’s Building Hope Scholarship. The award presentation, hosted at our Las Vegas office, included members of the PWB Council and the 10 young recipients, who each received scholarships from $2,000 to $2,750 to use toward education and certification for building industry careers.
Promoting greater diversity in the homebuilding workforce is not a new initiative for Division President Nicole Bloom, Vice Chair of the Professional Women in Building Council. Earlier this year, she was recognized as “Member of the Year” by the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, and the PWB was named Council of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.
