Sustained job growth
Potential job stability can be a big factor in choosing a new place to live, and North Las Vegas boasts five years of solid job growth, with another 9 to 10,000 jobs expected to be added in 2019. Online retail behemoth Amazon recently opened an 850,000 square-foot fulfillment center in North Las Vegas, and announced that they’re hiring for over 1,300 open positions.

North Las Vegas is home to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where thousands of roaring fans cheer on NASCAR events. You’ll also find impressive casinos: Cannery Casino offers a 28-acre entertainment complex, complete with the state-of-the-art Galaxy Luxury+ Theater, 72,000 square feet of gaming space and more. Outdoor adventures
Situated on the northern edge of the Las Vegas Valley, North Las Vegas is in close proximity to a nearly never-ending list of outdoor experiences. Nature lovers can hike, bike, ski and fish—plus a whole lot more!
Lake Mead, which offers more than 500 miles of shoreline, is just minutes away. Mt. Charleston, Nevada’s fifth tallest peak, is right around the corner, and boasts 60 miles of trails for all levels, as well as areas for rock climbing, horseback riding, off-roading and camping.
A quick 30-minute drive takes you to Lee Canyon, where you can ski, hike, snowshoe and more, depending on the season.
